Sustainability

A heat pump takes a building's heat from the air without burning fuel. Our series built with the natural refrigerant R290 keep that gain on the refrigerant side too.

For every unit of electricity it uses, a heat pump produces several units of heat, most of it taken from the outdoor air. Compared with natural gas, coal or electric heaters, the same comfort takes less energy, and the building stops burning fuel on site.

Natural refrigerant

The refrigerant has a climate impact of its own. R290 (propane), which we use in the Poyraz, Boran and Ayaz series, is a natural refrigerant with a very low global warming potential and no effect on the ozone layer. Refrigerant regulations in Europe are moving in the same direction.

In product design

  • We design our heat pumps to the European Union's ErP (Ecodesign) and energy labelling directives.
  • With an inverter compressor and stepless capacity control, the unit runs only as hard as the building needs.
  • We offer indoor units that can work together with solar collectors and photovoltaic systems.
